2011 Cost of Living Announcement

As expected, on October 15, 2010, the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration made it official- there will be no cost of living increases for 2011. There is a possibility that each recipient may receive a $250 check to make up for the lack of a cost of living adjustment, however, this depends on whether a bill is passed by the House and Senate after the November elections.
