Ms. Cleveland is on the board of the Mental Health Association in Passaic County. We attended an awards dinner at the Riverside Manor in Paterson, NJ on June 8, 2010. There are many mental health, community outreach programs, hospital, partial hospital and residential setting support programs available in Passaic County. There are also drug rehabilitation programs such as Straight and Narrow, Inc. which is part of the Catholic Charities Organization, based in Paterson, New Jersey. This program offers both drug rehabilitation and mental health counseling. Several of the residents of Straight and Narrow formed the Straight and Narrow Gospel Choir, prepared a beautiful musical program which, in my opinion, was the highlight of the evening. It was wonderful that the Mental Health Association in Passaic County brought together so many dedicated groups who do such wonderful work for Passaic County residents in need of mental health services. The purpose of the event was a fund raiser to provide additional monetary support in the county.
